Did you know that checks and napkins are not recycled? We don't either...

First of all, we summarized the results of the initiative launched by the Company a year ago, Planet Without Garbage. Throughout the year, all our employees actively recycled plastic lids, e-cigarettes, paper and batteries in specially installed bins. Now it has become a part of our everyday life. The collected paper and plastic lids are donated to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the cigarettes become reset systems.

The most interesting part of the event was an interactive waste sorting session, where we divided into teams and learned to sort different types of waste by making our own mistakes. The information that sushi sticks, napkins, cigarette packs and receipts are not recyclable and that plastic can be different was a revelation for most of us!

We saw statistics from different countries on waste management and reviewed mobile applications that help us think about the future of the planet: save water, electricity, and minimize household waste. We did not do all this alone, as Dmytro Kryzhanovskyi, a YouTube blogger and activist, visited Fenix Agro and shared his practical experience of living by the zero waste principle. Dmytro impressed us with his knowledge and sincerely told us how to reduce waste in everyday life. He shared useful tips for an eco-friendly lifestyle that can change our everyday life for the better. If you are interested in learning more about the modern Ukrainian village, Dmytro regularly publishes videos on his channel "Dimon Proidysvit", where the atmosphere of rural life and unrestrained travel reigns. This is a real unique content that is worth watching!

No one went home without a gift, as Fenix Agro prepared a special present for each participant - flowering cards containing seeds of different types of flowers. They just need to be planted in the ground, watered and wait for the first sprouts of petunias, purslane and marigolds. These eco-friendly souvenirs became a pleasant memory of the event and contributed to greening the environment. Most of them have already been planted in pots and can't wait for the first sprouts!

Fenix Agro continues to actively support environmental initiatives and encourages everyone to join the efforts to preserve our planet. We are confident that together we can create a clean and healthy future for future generations.
